Meet the founder

Cory L. McClure

Cory McClure began his real estate career in 2002 with a townhome rental. Over the past 20 years, he has gained expertise in flipping homes, managing rentals, and expanding into commercial and vacation properties, as well as seller financing.

His first company, McClure Properties LLC, specialized in foreclosed assets, completing up to 35 units annually. A successful 2012 partnership with a rehab contractor led to the launch of Peak Lending, a private lending firm. Since then, Peak Lending has provided over $60 million in private loans, helping investors achieve success.

  • No, we have an asset-based lending program. We look at the project, loan-to-value, rehab plans, along with after repair value.

  • We fund up to $750,000.

  • No, unfortunately, we do not.

  • We require being added as an “Additional Insured Lien Holder” on property insurance.

  • We require being 1st position primary loan.

  • You, the borrower, will pay all closing, title, recording, and associated loan costs.

  • As the property investor, you select your preferred title closing company. If you need a referral, we know many superior title closers who concentrate on real estate investors.

  • We do not lend on the following:

    • Flood zone areas

    • Land

    • Primary residences, seasonal homes, mobile homes & trailer homes

    • Rezoning

    • New Construction

  • Yes, we will review your most recent investment projects.
